Arriving in Tahiti

After a long flight with plenty of turbulence, I finally arrived in Papeete with my parents and grandmother. The flight was fairly empty, so I managed to get some sleep in a row all by myself towards the back of the plane. This left me feeling fairly energetic when we arrived even though it was 10:30 PST. We made it through immigration quickly and without problems, then a shuttle was waiting to take us to the hotel. We found our rooms quickly, and after a quick shower to wash off the sweat and humidity, I settled in for the night.
